NSW Cup Highlights: Round 24, 2026 - Bulldogs vs Rabbitohs

NSW Women's Premiership: Bulldogs 4 def by Rabbitohs 36

It was a tough outing at Redfern Oval on the weekend for the NSW Women's Premiership side, downed 36-4 against the second-place South Sydney Rabbitohs.

A strong start from the Bulldogs saw the side take an early lead after Moana Courtenay touched down in the third minute, however the hosts returned serve with three tries to take a 14-4 lead at the break.

A sin bin in the 39th minute allowed Souths to cross a further two times with a player down to extend the lead, going on to record a further two tries to seal the win.

Jersey Flegg Cup: Bulldogs 32 def Rabbitohs 22

The Bulldogs Jersey Flegg Cup side continue to go from strength to strength, sitting in equal first position after holding off the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Belmore Sports Ground in a thrilling 32-22 victory.

Souths got on the board first before Sosaia Alatini opened the scoring for Canterbury, with a sin bin opening up the field for Wesley Papalii-Afoa to score a quick-fire double before Bronson Reuben crossed for a 22-12 lead at the break.

Jayden Smith bagged a second-half brace, and although the Rabbitohs got to within ten points on two occasions, the Bulldogs held on to secure their fourteenth win of the year.

Ron Massey Cup: Bulldogs 16 def by St Marys 36

The Bulldogs were unable to qualify for the Ron Massey Cup Preliminary Final after being downed 36-16 against St Marys at Leichhardt Oval in the first week of finals.

Saints got on the board early with two tries, before Azariah Toki-Mautairi touched down for the Bulldogs. Unfortunately, their opponents crossed twice more before the break to take a 22-6 lead.

Not to be deterred, the Blue and Whites roared back with Toki-Mautairi crossing for a second try, before Justin Matamua closed the deficit to just eight points with half an hour remaining.

Unfortunately, St Marys struck with another two tries in the dying stages to seal the win.

The Bulldogs will now face the Hills Bulls on Saturday afternoon at Leichhardt Oval in a do-or-die clash in the second week of finals.
