Two of the Club’s brightest young prospects have taken out the Terry Lamb NSW Cup Player of the Year Award, with judges unable to split the pair following fantastic seasons.
2026 Terry Lamb NSW Cup Player of the Year: Alex Conti & Logan Spinks
Young gun pairing Alex Conti and Logan Spinks have been named joint recipients of the 2026 Terry Lamb NSW Cup Player of the Year.
Conti, 20, made a splash in his debut season in the state’s premier open-age men’s competition, making the leap after graduating from the Club’s SG Ball Cup side.
A spearhead of the side’s attack throughout 2026, Conti made 17 appearances, scoring ten tries and kicking 17 goals for a total of 74 points.
He proved to be an invaluable member of the squad, with 16 try assists, 18 linebreak assists and eight forced drop outs whilst averaging 87 running metres per match.
Spinks, 20, finished the season as the competition’s third-highest try-scorer with 18, laying claim as the highest try-scorer amongst all forwards.
A constant threat in attack, the Northern Rivers product averaged 99 metres per game, while also finishing the year with a total of 24 offloads, 12 linebreaks and nine linebreak assists.
He also led the competition in charge-downs, and averaged 27 tackles a game whilst playing 80 minutes across all but three of his matches.
A match-winner on multiple occasions, Spinks has closed in towards an NRL debut after being named on the reserves bench multiple times throughout the year.
"It's pretty hard (playing NSW Cup)," Spinks said.
"You've got players dropping in and out each week to NRL, but I think just getting around the boys each week is the main thing.
"I've got a pretty good couple of guys to learn from in Viliame Kikau and Jacob Preston. I think just getting to train each day and learn off them, Ciro and I always say there's no better backorders to learn off."
"I'm just sort of working and developing every day," Conti added
"Going up against Kikau and Preston, learning my craft and just trying to get better. As a seven, it's a pretty big jersey. That's what happens when you're at such a big Club.
"I think as a seven, that's what you look for and that what you play for, and I guess that's what I'm working for."
2026 NSW Women’s Premiership Player of the Year: Shanthie Lui
Shanthie Lui has taken home the 2026 NSW Women’s Premiership Player of the Year award.
The 19-year-old made strides in 2026 after starring in the Club’s Tarsha Gale Cup squad, guiding the side to the second week of finals.
Making the jump to the NSW Women’s Premiership side in June, Lui was a stand-out in the premier women’s open-age competition, playing all but one match across the season.
Her versatility saw her move between second row, centres and fullback - scoring four tries and kicking four goals - with her efforts rewarded with an NRLW development contract mid-way through the season and an NRLW debut in the competition's final round.
"Just coming back from injury, having the support system around me, that's all I needed," Lui said.
"It's been a good year."
