Last Time Out: Round 5, 2025

It was all level the first and last time these two sides met in the NRLW's 2025 Magic Round in Newcastle.

On a wet and soggy McDonald Jones Stadium, the Bulldogs and Titans tussled to a 14-all draw with the conditions hampering both sides.

NRLW Highlights: Round 5, 2025 - Bulldogs vs Titans

Co-Captain Tayla Preston was on song with the boot, kicking two 40/30s that drove the Bulldogs downfield, while rookie winger Elizabeth MacGregor bagged a double.

However the result was unable to be decided after 80 minutes as both sides settled for a solitary competition point.

Key Match Up: The Number 7s

With both sides eager for a first win of 2026, look no further than the women with the no.7 on the back of their jerseys to steer their team to victory.

Co-Captain Tayla Preston will be primed to have a big game for the Blue and Whites, especially with experienced halves partner Ash Quinlan back on deck after missing Round 1.

The Bulldogs' playmaker averaged a whopping 337 kicking metres in 2025 and proved to be a master of building pressure, forcing 12 drop outs in her first season at the Club. She was at her pinpoint best in New Zealand last week, punching out 323 metres from eleven kicks.

Preston Seals the Win!

Her opposite, Lauren Brown, is no stranger to pressure, having steered the Titans and QLD Maroons to countless victories.

The veteran seven steered the Gold Coast to the finals last season, and forced seven drop outs while setting up six tries to boot.

While both teams were limited in try-scoring opportunities in the opening match of the competition, it will be up to these two to pile on the points.
