It's the Last Dance in a number of ways for the Bulldogs this Thursday, marking the final game of the 2026 NRLW season.

It also marks the final match with Brayden Wiliame at the helm as well as a number of players, presenting a great opportunity to end their campaign with an upset of the ages.

Coach Wiliame has made a few changes in his last game in charge of the club's NRLW team before Mark O’Meley takes over next season. Shanthie Lui comes in at fullback for her NRLW debut, with Andie Robinson to fill in for Ashleigh Quinlan (unavailable) at five-eighth.

Other changes see Elizabeth McGregor come on to the wing, moving Bridget Hoy to the 18th player role. A shuffle in the forwards, with Angelina Teakaraanga-Katoa moving to lock, Alexis Tauaneai to prop, Leilani Wilson to the second row alongside Pauline Suli-Ruka, who is in for Tamika Jones.

Only one change to the Roosters side who powered to a strong win against the Cowboys last week, with the return of forward Amber Hall to the bench. Taneisha Gray, who scored her first NRLW try last week, reverts to the reserves.

Last Time Out: Round 4, 2025

It was a high-scoring match at Allianz Stadium in Round 4 last season in the first meeting between the bitter cross-town rivals at NRLW level.

After facing a 32-nil deficit at the break, the inexperienced Bulldogs warmed to the match against the eventual Grand Finalists.

MacGregor Scores on Debut

Debutant Elizabeth MacGregor made a strong impression, scoring a quick-fire brace within the span of five minutes.

Monica Tagoai joined her on the scoresheet soon after with a trademark try, before Ashleigh Quinlan touched down for a four-pointer of her own to close the match.

Key Match Up: Representative Props

They say games are won by the forwards, and two of the biggest and most powerful in the competition face off as Alexis Tauaneai and Millie Elliott go head-to-head.

Kiwi Ferns representative Alexis Tauaneai has flourished in the middle of the field in 2026, and has become a cornerstone of the Bulldogs' forward pack.

Tauaneai Charges Over!

The 21-year-old has quite literally led from the front, averaging a mammoth 142 metres per game, and 29.3 tackles at a 91.3% tackle efficiency. Coupled with two barnstorming tries, 11 offloads and 13 tackle breaks, Tauaneai's performances have been paramount to the Bulldogs' go-forward.

This week she comes up against one of the competition's premier front rowers in Elliott, a multiple Premiership winning prop who has returned from pregnancy in fine form.

A veteran of the game, Boyle has also scored two tries, while averaging 127 metres and 20 tackles per game at an unbelievable 95% efficiency. With 21 tackle breaks to her name, the Australian Jillaroo will be a formidable opponent on Thursday night.
