Here Come the NRLW Bulldogs!
It's been over a year since these two teams clashed, and it was a historic night on July 4, 2025 when the Bulldogs entered the NRLW with a bang.
Up against the 2022/23 Premiers, the Blue and Whites blitzed the competition powerhouses with a 26-8 victory at Accor Stadium to open their account in first-grade.
After conceding in the 15th minute, the Bulldogs clicked into gear with Moana Courtenay scoring the Club's very-first NRLW try, before veteran Ashleigh Quinlan made it a 12-6 lead at the break.

Co-Captain Angelina Teakaraanga-Katoa swooped to extend the lead, before Courtenay made it a double.
While Newcastle fought back to score a second try, it was all over red rover when Quinlan scored her second with seven minutes on the clock, capping off a magical entry into the NRLW.
Key Match Up: The 6 and the 7
Bulldogs Co-Captain Tayla Preston will be out to have a big game against Knights five-eighth Kirra Dibb in a match that could be dictated by the two steering the ship.
Preston has been the Bulldogs' compass ever since she joined the Club for their inaugural season last year. She has posted five try assists, a pair of line break assists, forced three dropouts and averages 52 metres per match.
Andie Show-And-Go Seals The Win!
Her opposite, Dibb, has been tasked with guiding the Knights around following the departure of star halfback Jesse Southwell.
That's seen her set up three tries, a pair of line break assists, force six drop outs, average 54 metres per game and score two tries of her own.
When it comes right down to it, it will be the halves who will dictate this one, and Preston will need to have a career-best performance to get the Blue and Whites over the line in enemy territory.
