Bulldogs Academy Team List: Round 3

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Junior Representative sides have been named for Round 3 of their respective seasons.

This week the sides will be split across three game days; the Harold Matthews Cup team takes on Balmain, the SG Ball Cup side travel to New Zealand to face the Warriors, while the Lisa Fiaola Cup and Tarsha Gale Cup teams take on the Illawarra Steelers.

A word from the Coach, Vanessa Foliaki: 

"The Steelers certainly play a similar style of footy to us, they are well structured and played well in the opening rounds," she said.

For us, it's about building each week and learning as we go. We'll continue to work hard and look forward to another great challenge this week.

A word from the Coach, Mark O'Meley:

"It was a tough match last week, but the pleasing thing was that the boys fought to the end and didn't die wondering," he said.

This week we take on the Tigers at Leichhardt, and we'll be coming into the match with the mentality to be the best at the basics.

A word from the Coach, Steve Turner: 

"There were plenty of positives to take away from the game last weekend," he said.

"But there are also plenty of lessons for the playing group to continue to get better each week.

We're keen to take on the Warriors in Hamilton this week, which will be a unique test and experience at this level.
