The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are excited to announce the re-signing of two of the Club’s rising stars in AJ Jones and Jed Reardon.
Jones, who has signed a one-year Top 30 deal for 2027, has been in the Club’s pathways system since the age of 17. After impressing during his journey through SG Ball, Jersey Flegg and NSW Cup, the 21-year-old New Zealand product was rewarded with an NRL debut in Round 9 of this season.
Meanwhile, Reardon – son of Club great Steve Reardon – has inked a Development deal for 2027. The 21-year-old centre/second-rower made his NRL debut in the Bulldogs’ Round 12 win over the Melbourne Storm and celebrated with his proud dad on the field post-match.
General Manager of Football Phil Gould AM was thrilled to share the news.
“The Bulldogs are a development Club so it’s pleasing to reward two players who have progressed through our grades,” Gould said.
“AJ has been in our system since he was a teenager and Jed was a part of our Premiership-winning Jersey Flegg side in 2024.
It’s been a joy to watch the two of them develop into the impressive young men and players that they are – and I have no doubt they have plenty more first-grade football ahead of them.
