Bulldogs support the memory of Mick Adams

The Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs were able to support a great cause recently, with Board Director Paul Dunn representing the club at a Golf Day held at Forster Golf Club.

The day was a Men of League Fund Raiser for former Bulldogs player Mick Adams, who had been a staunch supporter of the Golf Day for many years. Mick, who had a long career in England that included representing Widnes (1971-84) and Great Britain (1979-84), played 23 matches for the Bulldogs during the 1975 and 76 seasons.

Mick, unfortunately, passed away in March 2017, just one week after attending the day. The day will now be called the Michael Adams Memorial Golf Day, in memory of Mick.

President of the Foundation is Mick’s close friend Brian Atherton who grew up with Mick in Widnes in England, where they both played Rugby League together.

Over 150 people played on the day, including the Bulldogs’ Paul Dunn, plus many other representatives from various Rugby League clubs. The day was able to raise a significant amount of money for the Men Of League Foundation.
