The NRL has today confirmed the draw for the remaining six rounds of the competition with the Bulldogs featuring in a number of blockbuster fixtures to round out the regular season.
The Bulldogs host four home matches in the final six weeks with Round 21 against the St George Illawarra Dragons being the first of those. The match will be played on Friday, 29 July at ANZ Stadium with kick-off at 7.50pm.
Round 23 will see us take on the Manly Sea-Eagles in Thursday Night Football on 11 August at 7.50pm. After a convincing display against the men from across the bridge in the opening round of the season, Coach Des Hasler will again be hoping to get a win against his former club.
It’s then two home matches to close out the regular season with the second of our Belmore games to be played against the 2015 Premiers, the North Queensland Cowboys, on Thursday, 18 August at 7.50pm. With both teams sitting in promising positions on the competition ladder, it is sure to be a mouth-watering clash, with plenty of superstar players on show.
The final match of the season will be against the South Sydney Rabbitohs on Friday, 2 September at 7.50pm. After a demolishing victory in the Good Friday clash earlier this season at ANZ Stadium, the side will be looking to finish off the regular season with plenty of confidence, ahead of a potential Finals Series birth the following week.
Round 22 is the first of two away matches with the side heading north to take on the Newcastle Knights at Hunter Stadium on Saturday, 6 August at 3.00pm. It will see great mates Josh Reynolds and Trent Hodkinson go head to head for the first time since the latter departed the club at the end of the 2015 season.
The second of the away matches will see the Bulldogs clash with the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium, north of the border, on Thursday, 18 August at 7.50pm.
