The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have claimed a massive victory in their Preliminary Final, defeating the runaway Minor Premiers St George Illawarra at Kogarah Oval.
Josh Jackson's side will now face the Penrith Panthers in the 2026 Jersey Flegg Cup Grand Final this Saturday, September 26 at CommBank Stadium in Parramatta.

The Bulldogs pulled off one of the upsets of the year by defeating the Minor Premiers St George Illawarra in the Jersey Flegg Cup Preliminary Final at Kogarah Oval on Saturday afternoon.
Despite their opponents scoring first, the Blue and Whites fired midway through the half, with Chase Paterson touching down in the 21st minute, before Latrell Fing gave the side the lead just three minutes later.
Bud Smith crossed after half an hour before Lachlan Mifsud added his name to the scoresheet for a 22-4 lead at the break.

The momentum continued ten minutes into the second stanza with Sosaia Alatini crossing, before Chelden Hayward sealed the deal in the 52nd minute.
The Dragons scored twice more to try and trouble the scoreline, but Josh Jackson's side maintained their dominance to claim a 16-point victory and stamp their ticket to the Grand Final.
