The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs will host the Warriors at Accor Stadium tonight, as the Club takes them on for the second time this season.
While historically, both clubs are placed at a 50% win record, the Bulldogs will have the home ground advantage. The team will be keen to claw back a win in their second match-up of the season after falling just short of the two points across the Tasman to a Shaun Johnson special in the 66th minute.
Bulldogs prop Max King played an instrumental role in the last match-up, making 48 tackles and running 124 metres.
Match: Bulldogs v Warriors
Round 11 -
home Team
Bulldogs
15th Position
away Team
Warriors
7th Position
Venue: Accor Stadium, Sydney
Both teams are coming off a loss suffered at Magic Round and will be equally determined to secure a win and keep within reach of the top eight. If the Bulldogs can topple the Warriors, it will be the first time since 2018 that they have achieved the feat.
Star winger Josh Addo-Carr who was named to return from injury this week has now been removed from the line-up with the club deciding to rest him for another week. This creates an opportunity for Blake Wilson, who will make his NRL Debut.
A last-minute shift has seen the swap of Ray Faitala-Mariner and Harrison Edwards, with Harrison now starting and Ray coming off the bench.
The Round 11 match-up will be a special one for the Club, generously gifted to the Jenny Souris Foundation in honour of the late Jenny Souris and her Foundation legacy.
