Round 5 Team News: Line-up finalised for Cowboys clash

Head Coach Cameron Ciraldo has finalised his line-up to tackle the North Queensland Cowboys on Sunday afternoon at Accor Stadium.

Before the two clubs go head to head, each sitting on 2 wins and 2 losses, 4 Rounds in, two teams from across the club's female pathways will line up to make Bulldogs history.

Playing as curtain raisers for the first time, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Harvey Norman Women's Premiership teams will run-out to face the Wenty Magpies for an action-packed, family fun afternoon.

The NRL match will kick off at 6:15pm and a win from the Bulldogs this Sunday would see them take their best start from five rounds in seven years.

Both the Cowboys and the Bulldogs are carrying injuries through the Round 5 match. Viliame Kikau has been ruled out due to a head knock at training as well as Fa'amanu Brown following the dislocation of his elbow in Round 4. Cowboys' Jeremiah Nanai has been ruled out after copping a two-match suspension for a Dangerous Throw.

Josh Reynolds will make his start from the bench. A start which would see him play his first NRL match for the Club since 2017 and complete a fairy-tale return home.

Following Kikau being ruled out for Round 5, Kurtis Morrin has joined the interchange bench.

Ticket holders can enjoy free travel by train to Sydney Olympic Park this weekend, with tickets available here.
