We can’t wait to play in front of our Members and fans in Bundaberg Queensland!

Soak up the atmosphere at Salter Oval on Sunday August 7 as we square off against the Cowboys in what promises to be a fiery encounter presented by Takalvans.

Takalvans owner Dale Rethamel is please to be in partnership with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

Ticketed Members will NOT be able to access our Round 21 clash against the Cowboys using their Member Cards.

This game is only accessible to patrons who have purchased a ticket.

Entering the field of play at any point of the event is strictly prohibited and will be prosecuted.

Match Day Activations

  • Pregame Bulldogs Trivia

We look forward to testing the knowledge of our loyal Bulldog’s supporters as we will randomly select some Bulldogs fans to partake in our Pregame Trivia for the chance to win some prizes.

During half time, two lucky spectators aged 18+ will get the opportunity to be on field participating in a Takalvanss sponsored running race, keep an eye on our socials for your chance to enter the competition.

Open Training Session (Captains Run)

During our stay in Bundaberg, we are excited offer our Members and Fans the opportunity to watch the team train and get up and close with their favourite players.

The Open Training Session will be held at Salter Oval, Bundaberg on Saturday, August 6 at 11:00am with Gates opening at 10:30am.

Get down and support the players during their final preparations during the team’s Captain Run.

Please note, fans will be required to remain behind the fence line throughout the entire event.

At the conclusion of training, players will visit the fence line and fans will have the opportunity to sign autographs and take photos with the squad.

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase a Sausage Sizzle during the session by making a Gold Coin Donation.  

Merchandise

Shop the range of Bulldogs 2022 merchandise at the marquee inside Gate A located on the Western Side of the ground.

Merchandise will be available during the Captain’s Run as well as on Game Day.

Specialist Game Day T-Shirts to commemorate our inaugural Bundaberg Fixture will be available for purchase.

Conditions of Entry

As per the conditions of entry, the Council reserves the right to:

  • Refuse entry to any persons deemed to be intoxicated, drug effected, disorderly and/or engaging in anti-social behaviour
  • Refuse entry to any unauthorised persons
  • Refuse entry of items which have the potential to cause injury or public nuisance. (i.e. large flags/banners, musical instruments, etc.)
  • To inspect/search bags of all patrons who enter or exit the venue regardless of the size

The following restricted/prohibited items are not permitted into the venue:

  • glass or cans, including aerosol cans or metal containers of any style
  • alcoholic beverages and illicit drugs
  • flares, fireworks, explosives, smoke bombs or other incendiary devices
  • laser pens/pointers
  • drones
  • knives or other dangerous weapons
  • chairs/stools/folding seats (disability support items permitted)
  • cameras and recording devices (for commercial purposes) including tripods
  • metal flag poles, extendable flag poles and/or flag poles of more than 1.4 metres in length and 2cm in diameter
  • oversized banners and flags which are deemed to cause public nuisance. Specific conditions may apply for some events regarding the entry of flag poles, flags and banners
  • whistles, hooters, and horns and other musical instruments (e.g. drums)
  • balloons, confetti or shredded paper
  • scooters, roller skates, skateboards and push bikes
  • not to wear or otherwise display commercial, political or other offensive signage or logos
  • animals (with the exception of certified service animals)
  • other items as determined by Council that may cause injury or public nuisance
  • eskies
  • bags with larger dimension than 40cm in height, 30cm in width and 30cm in length (i.e. too large to be stored under a seat
  • umbrellas
  • strollers and prams (not permitted into the venues ticketing seating area)

Traffic & Transport

  • PARKING There are two onsite limited parking options available at the venue for a gold coin donation. SES will be assigned to direct traffic, with access to venue parking available from Avoca Street and Walker Street. Designated areas for disability compliant parking will be identified by SES volunteers.
  • E-SCOOTERS A designated E-Scooter park zone will be established outside the venue, on White Street. Download the Neuron eScooter app here.
  • TAXI SERVICES will be available on game day. Download the 13cabs app here.
  • UBER services will be available in a limited capacity on game day. Download the Uber app here.
  • BUS Stewart and Sons and Duffy’s Busses will be operational during their regular times and routes.
  • ROAD CLOSURES On the day of the event, road closures will be in place from 6am to 8pm on White Street and Payne Street.
  • VACATING THE VENUE Patrons are expected to vacate the Venue by 5pm or as early as traffic management conditions allow following the event.

We need your help to keep our Stadium safe and protect the health of all patrons and workers by following the below COVID Safe measures:

Please stay home if you:

  • Are sick, feeling unwell or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or are awaiting a COVID-19 test result.
  • Have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 or who is awaiting a COVID-19 test result.
  • Are you considered a close contact by QLD Health

  • Where possible maintain physical distancing of 1.5m with people outside of your party – with a particular focus when queuing to gain access to the Stadium, in food and beverage lines and when accessing toilet facilities.
  • Patrons must only sit in their allocated seat or section printed on your ticket
  • Entry will be strictly via the gate printed on your ticket.
  • Arrive early and limit bags where possible to ensure a smooth entry.
  • Practice high level hand hygiene using the hand sanitisers located around the venue.
