Dragons duo accept fines

Dragons pair Paul Vaughan and Josh McGuire both accepted fines with early guilty pleas to grade one dangerous contact charges arising from Sunday's win over the Bulldogs.

Vaughan copped a $1350 fine while McGuire's four prior non-similar offences meant his fine was $2050.

Vaughan was charged with a grade one dangerous contact to the head/neck on Sione Katoa in the 17th minute, while McGuire's dangerous contact charge came from an incident involving Kyle Flanagan in the 80th minute.
