Summer development program begins

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs commenced it’s summer development program for 14 and 15 year old’s last night at Clemton Park with it’s first of six practical sessions to be held during February.

With over 150 registered local juniors representing 10 clubs including, both male and female players have been given the opportunity to learn the Bulldog way and further their rugby league development.

The program is designed to give players the basic standards of skills in attack and defence as well as highlight the importance of the physical benchmarks required for years to come.

All involved in the program are working on the basis that continue improvement will give the Bulldogs sustained success in the future, in particular within their junior rep programs and leading into higher representation of local juniors in the senior grades.

The Bulldogs staff were impressed with the involvement, the attitude and enthusiasm of the junior league coaches involved with an aim at looking to progress these coaches into the club’s pathways programs.
