Bulldogs to stay hydrated until 2024

The Canterbury League Club and the Bulldogs have continued to consolidate their sponsorship portfolio by extending their agreement with Asahi Premium Beverages for another five years, taking the partnership through until the end of the 2024 season.

This extension will see the sponsorship extend beyond 35 years in what has been a unique example of a long term sports partnership.

The continuation of the deal between both organisations will see Schweppes products being exclusively poured in the League Club, whilst Gatorade and Cool Ridge water will provide hydration for the Football Department as Official Hydration Partner.

Bulldogs Chief Executive Andrew Hill was delighted at being able to extend the partnership with Asahi:

"Any sponsorship over 30 years is extremely rare in the modern sporting environment so to be able to continue our partnership with such an iconic brand as Gatorade, is tremendous news and provides us with great stability going forward."

Canterbury League Club CEO, Greg Pickering added: “This further consolidation of the Asahi Premium Beverages relationship with Canterbury and the Bulldogs speaks volumes for the commitment and support of one of our most important partners. We are excited about the benefits that will flow on to our members.”

Asahi Premium Beverages - General Manager NSW/ACT, Fred Jones also looked forward to the extension of the partnership: "On behalf of Asahi Premium Beverages we are delighted to extend our partnership with Canterbury League Club and the Canterbury Bulldogs for a further 5 years. This is one of our longest existing relationships and we look forward to many successful years, both on and off the field."
