Eight pups head to NRL Rookie Camp

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs rookies Jackson Topine, Aaron Schoupp, Kurt Picken, Matt Doorey, Tyrone Harding, Isaiah Tass, Jake Averillo and Sebastian Winters-Chang will spend the weekend at the NRL’s annual Rookie Camp.

The NRL Rookie Camp is for NRL Development List contracted players, up and coming stars in their respective club’s top 30 list and players training full-time with the NRL squad.

Topine: I don't want to let my family down

The weekend will see 22 former or current players offering experience along with Industry Experts delivered presentations, videos & workshops designed to assist off-field decision-making, behaviour and performance.

The two-day induction and leadership camp covers social responsibility topics such as Illicit Drugs, Alcohol, Gambling, Respectful Relationships, Cultural Awareness, Mental Health & Well-Being, Social Media & Reputation Management, Personal Brand, Finance, Concussion Awareness and interactive Theatre-Sports.

The camp includes extensive training in media, cultural awareness, drugs and alcohol, social media, money management, social responsibility, respectful relationships and personal presentation.

All 16 clubs will be represented over the weekend.
