Reimis Smith extends his time at Belmore

The Bulldogs have continued to lock down members of their current squad with impressive winger/centre Reimis Smith signing a contract extension keeping him at Belmore until the end of the 2021 season.

Smith has proven to be one of the most talented outside backs in the NRL, playing in 23 matches for the blue and whites in 2019.

The 22 year-olds' finishing ability has been a major positive, resulting in 12 tries last season.

He was also able to show blazing speed in the open field and this resulted in selection for New Zealand in the recent World Nines tournament.

Head Coach Dean Pay was pleased that Smith had chosen to extend his time at Belmore :

"Reimis is a great young talent and he gives us options in the backline as he is able to play both wing and centre.

He has shown an ability to score tries and be a great finisher, but we have also been pleased with the overall development of his game in the past two years.

We are all about building for the future and having Reimis be part of that is exciting for everyone involved at the club."
