How the Bulldogs can make the Finals

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs remain in the hunt to finish in the top eight following their spirited 12-6 win over Parramatta at Bankwest Stadium.

The Bulldogs victory over arch-rivals the Eels made it four straight wins for the proud Belmore club.

Canterbury currently sit on 20 competition points and should the Dogs grab victories from their final two matches against the Cowboys and Broncos, and 11 other results go their way, they would find themselves in the finals.

Pay full of praise for his side's tenacity

Since round 15, Dean Pay’s men have won six of their eight matches with all of those wins coming against sides who were in the top eight at the time.

The two defeats over the last two months have come against the Broncos and Roosters.

The 11 results below which the club needs to go their way to cement a spot in the 2019 finals series:

Round 23:

Cowboys beat Panthers, Rabbitohs beat Broncos, Warriors beat Sharks, Knights beat Tigers

Round 24:

Eels beat Broncos, Roosters beat Panthers, Raiders beat Sharks, Dragons beat Tigers

Round 25:

Raiders beat Warriors, Tigers beat Sharks, Knights beat Panthers.
