Fitzgibbon to miss Bulldogs clash

Newcastle Knights back-rower Lachlan Fitzgibbon has been ruled out of Friday night's clash against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs with an elbow injury.

Fitzgibbon suffered a dislocated elbow in the early exchanges of the Knights 24-20 loss to the Warriors last weekend and scans have revealed he has suffered ligament damage which will sideline the 25-year old for four to five weeks.
