Lynne Anderson welcomes the SHE Summit to Belmore

Bulldogs HQ plays host to the official report launch for the SHE Summit.

Anderson, officially welcomed over 100 young women from local schools to Belmore Sportsground today to with the aim of “striving to inspire, empower and connect young girls and women with tools for them to achieve their optimal holistic health, through sports, health and education pathways.”

As a club the Bulldogs have seen the importance of the Summit as a way of driving participation for young women in sport.

The SHE Summit, first held in December 2018, is a health and fitness initiative for young women from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. The Summit came about due to the recognition that participation numbers for women from CALD backgrounds were particularly poor.
