The Canterbury- Bankstown Bulldogs will face the Canberra Raiders in their only NRL trial match ahead of the 2019 season.
The announcement today at Bega Recreation Ground, was part of the Raiders commitment to NSW regional areas, following the announcement earlier this year of the NSW Government's $4 million commitment to the new CDRL Centre in Braddon.
Following the revamped All Stars match on February 15, the Bulldogs will head to Bega on Saturday, February 23 to tackle the Raiders at Bega Recreation Ground, kicking off at 5.30pm.
The Bulldogs beat the Raiders when the teams met in a trial match last year, winning 16-12 on the Sunshine Coast.
The game will also see the club's new recruits wear the Bulldogs jersey for the first time and Dean Pay field his strongest team available in preparation for Round One, which will take place against the New Zealand Warriors on Saturday March 16th (3pm) at Mount Smart Stadium.
The trial match gives NRL fans in the region the opportunity to come and watch the Bulldogs and Raiders in what will be a competitive and hard-fought contest ahead of the 2019 season.
Tickets are just $15 for the match and are available for purchase through the Raiders online Shop
7000 tickets will be made available for the match and fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to ensure they don't miss out.
