Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs fans can look forward to an exciting season of football with their 2019 NRL draw being released today.

The draw is great for fans with 11 home matches in 'family friendly' time slots and no home Thursday night fixtures.

The draw will also give Bulldogs fans their first taste of the new Western Sydney Stadium, when they take on the Panthers in Round 20 (Saturday 3 August at 5-30pm), while a mouth-watering match-up awaits at Belmore, when the Storm visit in Round 11 (Sunday 26 May at 2pm).

Other features of the draw are :

• 4 x Sunday Home matches
• 2 x Public Holidays matches VS traditional rivals. Rabbitohs (Good Friday) and Dragons (Queens Birthday)
• Total of 11 Home matches with family friendly time slots
• Bulldogs Home match at Suncorp Stadium as part of Magic Round
• 7 Home local derby matches (Eels, Rabbitohs, Dragons, Sharks, Roosters, Panthers and Tigers)

Bulldogs Chief Executive Andrew Hill was excited about what lay ahead for Bulldogs fans this season: "I think the draw is an exciting one for our members and fans as the majority of home matches are in 'family friendly' time slots meaning it will be much easier to take kids out to the football. In addition, we have four consecutive Sunday afternoon games starting from Round Two, which is a fantastic bonus for fans wanting to watch us at weekends. With the strong end to the season that we experienced last year, it is great that we have two major home blockbusters against the Eels and the Rabbitohs in the first six rounds, where we hope for some big crowds at ANZ Stadium. The draw will also give our supporters their first chance to experience the new Western Sydney Stadium in Round 20 against the Panthers."
