Frawley to miss Grand Final

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs can confirm Matt Frawley will miss the Intrust Super Premiership grand final against the Newtown Jets this Sunday due to injury.

Frawley left the field midway through the first half of the Bulldogs preliminary final win with a foot injury and scans today have confirmed the 23-year old has suffered a fracture to his third metatarsal, ruling him out of Sunday's match.

Meanwhile, Lachlan Burr missed last weekend's victory over the St George Illawarra Dragons due to an injury to his hand that he suffered at work.

Burr required surgery to his hand last week and will visit a specialist early this week for a post-operative review.

The visit to the specialist will also confirm his availability to play in the grand final.

The club can also confirm Asipeli Fine had surgery last week after he suffered a dislocated hip and fractured pelvis during the club's semi-final win over the Wyong Roos, while Clay Priest has had surgery to repair several significant knee ligaments and cartilage following a complex knee injury in the Bulldogs round 25 Intrust Super Premiership match against the Wentworthville Magpies.
