Wakeham eager for Finals Footy

Jersey Flegg halfback Brandon Wakeham has said that hard work has been the key to their last two wins and a push towards the Finals.

"We need to win most of our games to give us a spot in the semis and we're working really hard to do that. It would be good to play semi-finals footy." Said Wakeham

Following a hard fought 12-6 win over the Warriors on Saturday, Wakeham believes they played smart footy:

"We always knew it was going to be tough against the Warriors, they're a big physical team. He (Brad Henderson) just told us to play smart footy and not to run into their big boys."

Wakeham believes they will need to win four from four to make the semis: "That's our main goal at training, just keep working hard."

Our Jersey Flegg squad will play the Dragons at Jubilee Oval this Friday night at 6:30pm.
