Kalache confident leading into Warriors clash

Bulldogs Jersey Flegg prop Kayne Kalache is confident leading into the Warriors game after his side successfully stuck to their game plan last week.

Coming off a solid 30-14 victory against the Tigers, Kalache noted that they stuck to their game plan and individual roles which played a huge part in coming away with the two points.

"We spoke in the tackle area and understood our processes, everyone stuck to their role" said Kalache.
Kalache believes the effort displayed throughout the week helped them put in a good performance and hopes to do the same against the Warriors.

"Winning the ruck in attack and defence, plus winning our first three tackles and putting them on their back was crucial. Hopefully we'll push in to next week and do the same thing."

Teammate Dalton Smith returned to the field following injury, scoring two tries. Kalache was happy with his return and appreciated the leadership he brings to the team.

"He's a really good leader of the team. He adds a lot of morale and good on him for scoring two tries he deserves it."

Our Jersey Flegg side will face the tenth placed Warriors this Saturday, July 28 at Belmore Sports Ground 11:00am.
