Bulldogs go down to the Knights in Newcastle

Newcastle's Tom Hughes, Nick Meaney and Brock Lamb have put on a masterclass to defeat our ISP squad 40 - 16 at McDonald Jones Stadium.

A tough day in the office for our Intrust Super Premiership squad, going down to a strong Newcastle side by 24 points.

Newcastle were impressive holding a 30-4 lead at half-time, with the Dogs finishing off the game with three quick tries in the last 10 minutes of the match.

Lachie Lewis and Ofahiki Ogden were missed after being named by Dean Pay to make their NRL debut against the Knights.

Tries: 4 - Bronson Garlick, Hayden Ashcroft, Josh Cleeland and Jayden Okunbor.

Our ISP squad will take on the Mounties at Belmore Sports Ground next Saturday July 7, at 5:15pm.
