Five Key Stats v Cowboys

The five key stats from our victory over the North Queensland Cowboys on Saturday afternoon.

  1. Moses Mbye converts seven from seven goals

Bulldogs fullback Moses Mbye had a good game against the Cowboys, kicking seven from seven goals throughout the game. This 100 per cent record was crucial, especially as we decided to kick penalty goals early in the game.

  1. Klemmer clocks up most run metres again

Dave Klemmer had a stand-out performance, running the most metres for the Bulldogs with a total of 162. These were mainly hard fought metres in the middle resulting in a great ‘roll on’ effect.

  1. Josh Jackson with the most tackles for the Bulldogs

Our Captain lead from the front making the most tackles for the Bulldogs with a total of 36. He was crucial in defence, holding the Cowboys to ten points.

  1. Cowboys kept scoreless in first half

It was a terrific performance from our team in defence as the Cowboys were kept scoreless at half time with the desperation kept up throughout the match.

  1. Bench Impact

Our bench impact was excellent with Fine, Eastwood, Holland and Fualalo all contributing to the win with their efforts while on the field.

The Buldlogs take on the Sydney Roosters this Thursday night at ANZ Stadium.
