Following the success of the Women’s Rugby League World Cup, the NSWRL has launched the 2018 Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership, with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs entering a team for the first time.
The Canterbury- Bankstown Bulldogs are excited to be fielding a team as it supports the growth of female participation in rugby league in the Canterbury-Bankstown District. For the last three seasons, the nucleus of the team played at the Greenacre Tigers in the NSWRL competition.
Under the guidance of coach Steve Kelly, the Bulldogs have assembled a strong squad, going into their Round 1 clash this Saturday at Belmore Sports Ground against Wentworthville.
On the field, the team will be led by current Jillaroo Elianna Walton who’s very “excited” about the challenge.
