The Bulldogs were leading 24-10 with 14 minutes left on the clock when Mbye came up with a brilliant play to stop winger Wright.
Manly were on the attack inside the Bulldogs half and a cut out pass from fullback Tom Trbojevic found his winger, but the Bulldogs half put his body on the line to stop the Sea Eagles flyer and the save the day for the home side.
