After trailing 16 nil at half time, the Bulldogs scored four tries in the opening 20 minutes of the second half to lead 22-16, before the Knights hit back to level the scores at 22 all with just over ten minutes to play.
In the space of a minute, the Bulldogs had their fifth after prop forward Giordan Patea was able to collect the ball from the kick-off and beat the Knights defence to put the ball over the line next to the post. Keighran converted and the score was 28-22.
