Winger Brett Morris is confident the return of five-eighth Josh Reynolds will have a significant impact this week when the Bulldogs host the Dragons at ANZ Stadium on Monday afternoon.

The energetic playmaker returns from a hamstring injury that has sidelined him for the past five weeks

“It’s very exciting to have Josh [Reynolds] back. We all know what sort of energy and enthusiasm he brings to a side and certainly coming off a tough loss, that’s what you need. You need plenty of energy and we obviously know we need to bounce back and having a guy like Josh in your side definitely helps,” said Morris.

Morris admits the passion Reynolds applies on the field is contagious and due to his absence it has been missing amongst teammates over the last couple of weeks.

“Obviously his competitiveness when you see some of the stuff that he does on the field lifts other players and I think that’s one thing we’ve probably been missing the last couple of weeks. I know the boys are looking forward to having him back out there,” he added.

Brett Morris will also return to the side for the Queen’s Birthday match after being rested following Origin duties.
