Bulldogs half Matt Frawley today gave his thoughts on the current CBA negotiations, following Cameron Smith’s remarks leading into the opening game of the 2017 State of Origin series.
The Maroons skipper was adamant that the players needed to stand firm on a shared revenue model covering the 2018-22 seasons. Bulldogs playmaker Frawley agreed:
“We just want to get our fair share and I think that needs to filter from the top and down to the lower end of the spectrum. The NRL do a really good job in funding for education, but for the players who aren’t in the top 25, I think they need more of a helping hand,” said the halfback.
