In line to make his NRL debut will be Tongan-born prop Francis Tualau.

The 23 year-old, has impressed in the Intrust Super Premiership this season and represented the Bulldogs in the Auckland Nines back in February.

A strong running forward with excellent ball skills is a graduate of the Storm under 20’s system, following two seasons in their NYC side. The prop forward arrived at Belmore following two seasons for Easts Tigers in the Intrust Super Cup.

What do you like to do away from football?

Away from football I like to spend time with my family and relax with some PS4.

What was your first job?

My first jobs were being a linesman and a shopman.

What are your goals in Rugby League?

My goal in rugby league is to play NRL and represent Tonga.

What do you love about Rugby League?

The thing I love most about rugby league is getting fit and in shape.

Who has been the biggest influence on your career?

The biggest influence on my career has been the women in my family (mum and partner).

What is your earliest league memory?

My earliest memory in Rugby League was playing in the under 14’s for Mangere East Hawks.

What is your best moment in league so far?

My best moment in rugby league to date was playing in the Auckland Nines.

Best piece of advice you have been given?

The results come from the effort you put in.

What advice would you give to a young rugby league player?

Preparation is the key to success.

Who is the player you looked up to as a kid and why?

The player I most looked up to was Michael Jennings. He has represented Tonga and he is one of the fastest players in the NRL.

Favourite sportsman and why?

My favourite sportsman is George St Pierre. I am a huge fan of the UFC and he has a saying that he makes training so hard that the fight won’t be as hard and I love this philosophy.

What can’t you live without?

Food.

What player do you most enjoy playing with/against?

I love training and being in the same team as Sam Kasiano.

What is the TV show you never miss?

The TV show I can’t miss is The Walking Dead.

What is on your bucket list?

Travelling to Hawaii is on my bucket list.

If you could play another sport, what would it be?

I would be a UFC fighter if I could choose another sport.

If you weren’t playing league, what would you be doing?

If I wasn’t playing league I would become an electrician.

How would you like to be remembered at the end of your career?

I would love to be remembered as Frank the Tank.
