The Bulldogs NYC team registered a six point win over the North Queensland Cowboys last weekend at Belmore Sports Ground.

The Bulldogs upset the fifth placed Cowboys and the talking point was the try the home side scored in the opening fifteen seconds.

Fullback Michael Doolan kicked off and sent the ball to the Northern end of Belmore Sports Ground.

The ball was collected by Cowboys halfback Oscar Carter who shifted the ball on to prop forward Emry Pere.

Instead of taking the ball into the line, Pere passed the ball to fullback Kalyn Ponga. Ponga than shifted the ball to five-eighth Mitchell Dunn who dropped the ball thanks to some great defence from the Bulldogs right hand side.

Winger Kiko Manu pounced on the loose ball to score under the post and register the first try of the match within 15 seconds from kick-off.

The Bulldogs went on to win 22-16.
