2017 Members got their first chance to get up close with the Bulldogs NRL squad on Sunday, with over 600 Members showing up for the 2017 Exclusive Members Season Launch.

With no clouds in the sky and the sun shining down made the perfect recipe for our Members Season Launch. Members were given the opportunity to take photos and interact/ meet the senior playing group including Captain James Graham, Brett Morris, Moses Mbye, Josh Jackson and more.

From a jumping castle, to face-painting, to players signing autographs, to the Sapphires cheer squad instructing new aspiring recruits, it was a big day filled with fun activities.

Adam Elliot and Brenko Lee unveiled the Bulldogs ANZAC jersey which will be worn in Round 8 against the Wests Tigers. The jersey pays tribute to Bulldogs players who served at War and to our first game played on ANZAC day in 1935 against the North Sydney Bears.

Bulldogs Winger Kerrod Holland suffered a shoulder injury in the loss against the Roosters, made an appearance despite his injury. He made a great effort to please the Members signing autographs with his non-dominant hand.

A loyal and dedicated Bulldogs Member Brad, travelled down from the coast with his two sons and has his say on the day.

“It’s a great opportunity, I got two little boys that come down and they love meeting the players and getting their photos taken with them. They (his sons) love it, the boys get to meet all the players that they see on the tele and they think it’s cool.” said Brad.

Another passionate member and mother of two, Karley, spoke of the day after bring her family out to Belmore.

“Getting to meet and interactive with the players and letting the kids have a good day out in the sun. Daughter’s done everything, cheerleading, jumping castle, all the signatures, the photos but the cheerleaders have been her favourite” said Karley.

A huge thank you to all the members who made the journey out to Belmore and was a part of our 2017 Members Season Launch.
