Brenko Lee is set to make his debut for the Bulldogs on Friday night at Belmore Sports Ground.

The former Canberra Raiders player excelled last season and from the nine games he played with the Raiders he managed to score eight tries and seven line breaks.

After making the move from Canberra to Belmore over the summer, Lee is raring to go after being given the green light by Head Coach Des Hasler in the centres for the first game of the season.

“Des has given me the opportunity in Round One, I’m excited and looking forward to it. I set it as a goal for me to come here and play first grade. I spoke to Des during the season last year about playing centre coming here and he didn’t lie to me. He said if you come here and train hard you will get first opportunity” said Lee.

Lee will be part of a new look right side for the Bulldogs when he runs out on to Belmore this Friday night, an opportunity he is looking forward to.

“Josh [Reynolds] is a player that gets you calm, he takes all the pressure off you and Josh Jackson is just a quality player. To play on the edge with Kerrod, will be good.”

Don’t miss the action on Friday, March 3 when the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs tackle the 2016 Grand Finalist at the new time slot of 6pm.
