Australia may have taken out the trophy but all four teams produced moments of magic at the 2016 Four Nations in England.

Kangaroos and Melbourne Storm duo Cameron Smith and Cooper Cronk executed some of their patented set plays, while Cowboys halves Michael Morgan and Johnathan Thurston sliced through New Zealand with some brilliant ad hoc footy.

England try-scoring sensation Ryan Hall continued his streak at international level, Raiders winger Jordan Rapana converted his NRL form into a great try for the Kiwis, and Shaun Johnson lifted his New Zealand team with some individual brilliance.

The biggest surprise of all? The efforts of tournament underdogs Scotland, who earned not one, not two, but three spots in our top 10 plays list – including the best try-scoring finish of the competition.

Watch the top 10 plays of the tournament in the above video.
