Sam Kasiano’s tackle against the Canberra Raiders in Round 5 has been voted as the 2016 tackle of the year.
Sam Kasiano has put on one of the biggest hits of the season at Belmore, rattling Raiders lock forward Shaun Fensom.
After starting on the bench, Kasiano was brought on to ignite the Bulldogs after the Raiders took control of the game early.
On the half an hour mark he did just that, as he jammed in on Canberra workhorse Shaun Fensom and almost sending him flying into the grandstand.
It followed his tackle on Raiders front-rower Shannon Boyd that signalled he was here to play.
To Fensom’s credit he bounced back up, but would be feeling the effects of the tackle for days.
