- North Queensland Cowboys V Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs

- 21 July 2016

- 1300 Smiles Stadium, Townsville, Qld

- Scott Davis

North Queensland Toyota Cowboys co-captain Matt Scott returns to the field for his team’s crucial Round 25 clash with the Canterbury Bulldogs at Belmore Sports Ground on Thursday.

Scott was a late withdrawal from the team that defeated the Warriors last weekend, due to a niggling back injury.

Passed fit to take on the Dogs at their spiritual home, Scott will start in the front row with James Tamou.

“He (Matt Scott) should be right for the game on Thursday," said Cowboys Co-Captain Johnathan Thurston.

“He could have played against the Warriors, but it would have hindered his recovery coming into the Bulldogs. He’ll definitely be back, but Jake is still another week or two away.”

With Matt Scott's inclusion, Scott Bolton will return to the bench in place of Ben Spina.
