When your father dies when you’re four years old, choosing to follow a footy team is one way to fill in some empty spaces.

That’s exactly what 10 year old Jehad decided to do and it has inspired a deep passion for the mighty Canterbury Bulldogs.  He can talk for hours about his team but with his mother struggling to make ends meet he’d never had an opportunity to attend a game.  Instead, she’d take him to watch big matches at the Canterbury Leagues Club so he could feel a part of the Bulldogs family by sharing the experience with other likeminded souls.

Jehad and his mother were very quickly identified as a family deserving of a free family Membership through the Brydens Membership programme and he’s been making the most of the opportunity, happily telling anyone who’ll listen about every game he’s been to so far this year.
