Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs player Josh Jackson has capped off a stellar year, individually, with the 24-year-old last night being name the ‘Second Rower of the Year’ at the prestigious Dally M Awards event, held at The Star in Sydney.

The Gulgong Terriers junior was in esteemed company on the nomination list, up against Wade Graham (Sharks), Aiden Guerra (Roosters) and Tyson Frizell (Dragons) but was the pick of the bunch and was on hand to receive his award.

Jackson was consistently one of the Bulldogs best each week averaging over 100m per match and 36 tackles. He also backed up his Australian selection at the end of last season and went on to represent NSW in all three State of Origin matches this season.
