The Bulldogs NYC team will be attempting to break the hearts of Melbourne Storm this Saturday at AAMI Park.

Canterbury have been disappointing this year, following the change in head coaches from Andy Patmore to Scott Murray just before the season kicked off.

As well as the vast majority of the Dogs 2013 NYC squad moving on to NSW Cup and NRL, the blue and white pups are struggling to clinch victories.

Monstrous young-gun Shaun Lane returned for the Dogs last week in their 20-point loss to Manly. Lane missed the early-mid part of the 2014 season through injury and will be a big boost for the Dogs who are struggling to score points.

NYC Captain Adam Elliot returns this week from an injury he suffered over a month ago, and will bring some staunch defence to the pups. Canterbury has leaked 518 points at an average of 35 points per game this season.

The Storm are currently eighth placed with 8 wins and 7 losses, but their home record is quite good, winning 5 and losing only 3.

The last time these two sides met was in Round 4 earlier this year at Lidcombe Oval. The Storm came away with a 16-point win that day, so the Dogs will be out for revenge when they meet for the second time this year.
