Current Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Captain Michael Ennis has today made a decision on his playing future, choosing to join the Cronulla Sharks in 2015.

Ennis has signed with the Sharks on a two year deal that will see him play with the Cronulla-based club through until the end on 2016.

Chief Executive Raelene Castle says Michael has much to be proud of since he arrived at the club back in 2009.

“The Bulldogs are disappointed that we weren’t able to come to an agreement with Michael for the future and we thank Michael for the enormous contribution he has made during his six years here,” Castle said.

“Everyone here holds him in high regard and supports his decision, which is ultimately in the best interests of his family and their future.”
