Some very special guests from Disability Services Australia paid a visit to Belmore HQ to watch the team train on Thursday, May 29 ahead of the club’s round 12 bye.
Blue sky and sunshine greeted the twenty very enthusiastic supporters from a number of DSA’s offices including Bankstown and Condell Park. The group spent the morning practicing their footy skills, passing and kicking the ball on Belmore Sports Ground.
The group, mainly Doggies supporters have been very impressed with the team’s form so far this season and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to see some of their favourite players up close and in the flesh.
Some were happy to watch, but it was John who claimed the role as honorary water boy – manning the drinks station and ensuring no one went thirsty.
Following the session the group got autographs and photos with their sporting heroes topping off a great day.
