Bulldogs TV headed out to the Moorebank Rams Junior Rugby League during the week to catch up with the kids and get an insight into the club.
As we head into our 38th year our club boasts participation of over 400 players forming teams from the Under 6's to A grade. We are a progressive club, and pride ourselves on our members upholding the ideals of good sportsmanship, encouragement and fairplay through rugby league. Our committee is determined to ensure our members enjoy the benefits of a strong organisation, with a focus on player development and continued financial benefits for our players and supporters.
Over the last 37 years we have come a long way, from a tent to a fully equipped canteen, from training "all over the place" to our very own Hammondville Oval. From sitting on the grass to our own grandstand From esky's to our very own Ram Shack Bar From 1 team to 29 teams.
As rugby league and sport in general, move forward into the 21st Century, the Moorebank Rams Junior Rugby League Club is aware of the ongoing changes needed to continue growth, strive to stay competitive, as well as continue to be attractive to any potential player, sponsor or supporter.
Our club is based at Hammondville Oval, Hammondville next to the Moorebank Sports Club. Hammondville Oval provides the best facilities for our players with an International feild for all grades to play on, and a training field on the back oval. Hammondville Oval is a far superior playing ground to any other grounds within the Canterbury competition. We have a large club house called the Ramshack with a licensed bar, where all are welcome. A canteen, large BBQ area, a covered grandstand and ample parking for our players and any visitors.
The Moorebank Rams Junior Rugby League club is a place where friendships and memories are made that last forever.
All this is due to the dedication and hard work of thousands of people over the years.
Hammondville Oval is the home ground of the Moorebank Rams JRLFC in the CBDJRL.
The field is used specifically for Rugby League and is an enclosed venue.
Facilities at the ground includes under cover grandstand seating and the Ram Shack Club House.
The ground is next door to the Moorebank Sports Club and there's ample parking available outside the venue.
