Reni Maitua and Tyrone Phillips spent time at Sydney Children’s Hospital on Wednesday, March 19 cheering up some young patients and converting some new Doggies supporters’ one bed at a time.

Both local to the eastern suburbs area, Reni and Tyrone relished in the opportunity to spend time with the kids. There are memorable characters everywhere we go and on this occasion Reni and Tyrone were treated to an awesome dance and rap exhibition from one excited youngster who had a liking to Eminem and some Miley dance moves.

Both players handed out Bulldogs posters, stickers, magazines and pencil cases, leaving behind some extras to ensure the hospital’s classroom is well stocked with Bulldogs gear to make our supporters feel closer to home.

Throughout 2014, the Bulldogs will be visiting youngsters doing it tough in Sydney Children’s Hospital, Bankstown Hospital, Canterbury Hospital and Children’s Hospital at Westmead, as part of the Bulldogs hospital visiting program.
