Pre-season has been busy for Perrett brothers Sam and Lloyd who partnered with Campbelltown Police to support the PRO-Teen Challenge in the lead up to Christmas.

The PRO-Teen Challenge was a unique two day camp run by the Police, Mission Australia, community services and community members; aimed at Pacific Island males 15-18yrs, who were referred from local high schools within the Campbelltown area, where Sam and Lloyd reside.

The PRO-Teen Challenge, which stands for “Promoting Responsible Options for Teens” offered the eight participants personalised training and mentoring support to develop leadership skills and self –development for the potential young male leaders.

Sam and Lloyd put the potential leaders through their paces, organising and running footy skill sessions and speaking with the youth one on one.

Other activities over the two days focused on creating strong bodies and minds, developing stronger relationships with self, others and the wider community, understanding self-identity and sustaining positive outcomes.

The program received very positive feedback from participants and their parents. Both Sam and Lloyd were awarded a Certificate of Recognition for their efforts - good work boys!
