Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs fullback Ben Barba has today undergone scans on his ankle that was injured last night during the Bulldogs 40-12 victory over the Parramatta Eels at ANZ Stadium.

Scans today have revealed a Grade 1 high ankle sprain that will see the 23-year-old sidelined for up to five weeks.

The Mackay product sustained the injury in the eighth minute of play after scoring the Bulldogs third try of the night.
