Forward Dale Finucane believes the squad is continuing to improve.
It is a positive step forward for uswe can build on that throughout the year, Finucane said.
The Bulldogs team did see the return of forwards Sam Kasiano and James Graham in emphatic style last weekend. What a return it was!
Dene Halatau spoke of the return of both James and Sam.
It was good having both those guys backSammy carts the ball forward and attracts three or four defenders at a time... having James out there off the bench his workload was enormous, Halatau said.
Not only was their contribution to the result last weekend well noted, but the ability for these guys to create opportunities for players like Tony Williams certainly showed, as he crossed for his first try for the year and was great for the Bulldogs.
Second rower Tony Williams talked about the benefits of what role these two players have on his game.
It helped me out on the edge, it gets me more involved with a bit of one on one, Williams said.
As the Bulldogs head over the Tasman this week to take on a New Zealand side, which is coming off a close win last weekend against the Titans, they know it will be a tough game.
The Warriors at home, although the game is being played in Wellington and not at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland are always tough and who knows what the weather will dish up, but one thing is for sure is that the playing squad will have to go over there with a committed attitude to get the result they are after. They are a big side, under a new coach and have plenty of talent amongst their squad, but it is just another week and the focus will not change from the clubs perspective on what they are over there to achieve.
Forward Dale Finucane believes not a lot will change.
Its just another venue, still prepare the samenot too much will change for us.
Its a great opportunity for the playing squad to continue to build on the past few weeks efforts and with the added occasion of it being Frank Pritchards 200th NRL game there will be more of an incentive for the team to play the footy they are known for and make a special night of it.
